According to Daily Mail, the accident occurred at Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight (UK) on June 6.
The car then veered off the road and plunged about 300 feet into a ravine. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police confirmed on June 8 that two people had died in the crash.

Coastguards, police, firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene after the accident. Photos posted showed the car submerged in water as rescuers searched the area.
According to witnesses, a man was removed from the car and given first aid.
"We received a call at 7.21pm on 6 June after a car travelling along Alum Bay New Road lost control and plunged off a cliff," police said.

The cliff is located near the Needles attraction - one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Isle of Wight, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
Following the incident, the Needles attraction was temporarily closed, with access to the beach, observation tower and Needles Old Battery restricted.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
