Onana changed his life after leaving MU

Goalkeeper Andre Onana has an attractive income when he left MU to move to Türkiye to play for Trabzonspor.

While playing for MU, Onana received around 120,000 pounds per week. According to Athletic , the Cameroon goalkeeper now earns almost double that figure at Trabzonspor (around 250,000 pounds/week), including signing-on fee and accompanying bonuses.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano said this salary helps Onana become Trabzonspor's highest-paid player and among the top-earning stars in the Turkish Super League.

Although the contract is only for one year, this is still considered a bold move by Trabzonspor to bring in a famous and experienced goalkeeper who has played in top European leagues.

On September 12, Onana received a warm welcome from Turkish fans when he was introduced to his new team. With a club scarf wrapped around his neck, Onana mingled with the crowd, dancing and singing happily with the fans, expressing his excitement at starting a new journey.

This scene is in contrast to the time he played for MU, where Onana was considered a "sinner" because of his continuous mistakes on the field.

Immediately after the unveiling ceremony, Onana immediately started training to prepare for the big match with Galatasaray - the team that also recruited goalkeeper Ederson from Man City in the summer transfer window.
