Mr. Ho Van Mung holds the position of Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee

Mr. Ho Van Mung was born in 1977, in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. Mr. Ho Van Mung has a high level of political theory; a Master's degree in Economic Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Languages.

Before 2013, Mr. Ho Van Mung was a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union. From August 2013 to September 2015, he was a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Van Ninh District Party Committee. From September 2015 to October 2015, he was a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Van Ninh District Party Committee. From November 2015 to August 2021, he was a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Propaganda Department of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Ho Van Mung was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee. From August 2021 to present, he has been an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

On August 30, 2024, the Politburo decided that Mr. Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
