Mr. Le Tuan Anh is Chairman of the Board of Thu Dau Mot University.

(NLDO) - Mr. Le Tuan Anh was recognized by the State Council of Professors as having met the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2016.

On March 3, Thu Dau Mot University held a conference to announce the decision on the position of Chairman of the University Council.

Accordingly, from March 1, Associate Professor Dr. Le Tuan Anh (former Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Duong province) officially holds the position of Chairman of the School Council, replacing Dr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong (retired early).

Associate Professor Dr. Le Tuan Anh was born in 1974, received a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University (Korea) and continued to complete his PhD program there in 2012.

In 2016, he was recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor.

In 2018, he was appointed Vice Principal of Thu Dau Mot University; in 2020, he was transferred to the Department of Information and Communications, holding the position of Deputy Director, and then in May 2021, Mr. Le Tuan Anh was appointed Director of this Department.

Thus, the current apparatus of Thu Dau Mot University includes Chairman of the University Council Le Tuan Anh and Principal Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan.

Previously, implementing the organizational arrangement according to Resolution 18, the Department of Information and Communications was merged with the Department of Science and Technology.

At the same time, transfer the state management function of press and publishing of the Department of Information and Communications to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; transfer the state management function of network information safety and security of the Department of Information and Communications to the Provincial Police.

Thu Dau Mot University (a public university under the People's Committee of Binh Duong province), established in 2009, currently has about 22,000 students.

The school has trained over 30,000 bachelors and 1,000 masters. Up to now, the school has had over 20 training programs meeting the national education quality accreditation standards (MOET), 8 programs meeting the quality accreditation standards of Southeast Asian Universities (AUN-QA)...

In the period 2025 - 2030, Thu Dau Mot University will implement a restructuring strategy, upgrading Thu Dau Mot University into a two-level, multi-disciplinary, multi-field and sustainably developed university.

This is of great significance to the school in carrying out its mission as a center of culture, education, science and technology; providing quality human resources and scientific and technological products to serve socio-economic development and international integration not only for Binh Duong province but also for the Southeast region and the whole country.
