Mr. Nguyen Bao Lam re-elected Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association

On November 7, the 7th Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, term 2024 - 2029, was held. Attending was Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association .

Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association currently has 241 members, 1 inter-branch, 4 branches and 3 clubs. Over the past 5 years, the team of members and journalists of Thai Nguyen province have actively contributed to the implementation of propaganda tasks, worthy of being the vanguard soldiers on the ideological, cultural and social fronts.

In Thai Nguyen province, there are 3 press agencies and 1 media agency; 20 central and sectoral press agencies with representatives and permanent residents; 32 newsletters of departments, branches and sectors.

The Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, term VII, 2024 - 2029, was introduced to the Congress.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, term VII, 2024 - 2029, was introduced to the Congress, consisting of 9 members. Mr. Nguyen Bao Lam, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, term VI, continued to be elected as Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, term VII.

The Resolution of the Congress with the spirit of "Solidarity, building a clean and strong Association; improving political qualities, professional ethics, and professional capacity in the digital transformation period of the press team to meet development requirements".

Journalist Nguyen Bao Lam was re-elected as Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association for the 2024 - 2029 term.

In his closing speech at the Congress, journalist Nguyen Bao Lam, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, affirmed: The Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Journalists Association, Term VII, will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, positivity, dynamism, and creativity to well perform the tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Congress, worthy of the trust of the members.

Mr. Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, awarded certificates of merit to members of the Provincial Journalists Association with outstanding achievements.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in professional work and activities of the Association. The Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 10 individuals with many achievements in building and developing the Journalists Association and press activities in the period 2019 - 2024.
