On behalf of the Group's leaders, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Le Manh Hung welcomed the leaders of Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam to visit and work; at the same time, highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Petrovietnam and Sumitomo in investing in energy projects in recent times.
Petrovietnam leaders shared that, according to the development orientation, in the coming time, in addition to traditional fields, the Group will actively implement clean energy projects CCS, CCUS, LNG, hydrogen, green ammonia ..., as well as renewable energy projects, focusing on implementing offshore wind power projects. Therefore, Petrovietnam wishes to cooperate with partners with experience and capacity in the field of offshore wind power. Petrovietnam and Sumitomo leaders discussed and agreed to continue to have discussions and propose effective cooperation plans. In particular, the two sides will study cooperation in the supply chain for offshore wind power projects in Vietnam in particular and the region in general, and cooperate in investing in the management and operation of offshore wind power projects. Mr. Eita Fujikawa, Chairman and General Director of Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam, thanked Petrovietnam leaders and expressed his belief that the cooperative relationship between Petrovietnam and Sumitomo in the coming time will achieve many positive results.
