(CPV) - Resolution of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee on building "Typical Ward Police, model of security, order and urban civilization" in the province by 2030, 13/13 wards have met the criteria of "Typical Ward Police, model of security, order and urban civilization". Assigned to preside over and coordinate the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's resolution. The Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors set a goal to strive to soon complete the targets set out in the resolution.

The model of "Typical Ward Police, model of urban security, order and civilization" is a major policy of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security , aiming to improve the overall quality of all aspects of the work of Ward Police, create a civilized and safe environment for the people, contributing to promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Police force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation and the socio-economic development of the locality.
To lead and direct the work of building "Typical Ward Police, model of urban security, order and civilization", on March 13, 2023, Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 11, the Provincial People's Committee issued Project No. 02 dated July 24, 2023 on implementing the construction of "Typical Ward Police, model of urban security, order and civilization" in the province, period 2023 - 2030.
The roadmap set out by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee is that by 2030, 13/13 wards in the province will be built to meet the criteria of "Typical ward police, model of security, order and urban civilization".
As a standing agency, advising the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee in implementing this resolution and project, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Hau Giang province have made high political determination, set goals to strive for, and will soon reach the finish line in the work of building a typical ward police station, a model of security, order and urban civilization in the province from 3 to 4 years compared to the resolution.
Accordingly, in August 2024, the Provincial Police Department coordinated with the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Vi Thanh City to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security and award the certificate of Ward I Police, Vi Thanh City achieving the model of security, order and urban civilization in 2023. It is expected that in 2024, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to recognize and maintain the criteria for Ward I Police, Vi Thanh City and recognize 4 new wards meeting the criteria of "Typical Ward Police, model of security, order and urban civilization".
To build a "Typical Ward Police, a model of urban security, order and civilization", the Ward Police in the province need to do a good job of advising the Ward Party Committee to issue a Resolution on building a Ward Police that is a model of urban security, order and civilization, the Ward People's Committee to develop a plan, establish a Steering Committee and set out operating regulations; mobilize the strength of the entire political system, departments, organizations, and the masses to support and help the Police force perform its tasks, contributing to achieving the criteria according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, bringing Hau Giang province to the finish line earlier than other localities in the country in building a "Typical Ward Police, a model of urban security, order and civilization"./.
