On April 18, Korean singer and rapper Zico announced the release schedule of his single “Spot!”, featuring female singer Jennie (member of Kpop group Blackpink).
The first official recording trailer for the song will be released from April 19. Jennie and Zico's concept photos will be released on April 22 and April 23, respectively.
The music video for “Spot!” will be released in two different versions on April 25 and April 26. Finally, the digital single will be released on various streaming platforms on April 26 at 6 p.m. KST.
On his personal Instagram account, Zico teased videos and photos of him and Jennie in the studio.
A short clip featuring Jennie's vocals was revealed and quickly attracted attention. The female singer showed off her powerful voice with a captivating melody. The music is receiving positive feedback from the audience.
Earlier this month, Korean media reported that Jennie (Blackpink) not only contributed her voice to Zico's new song celebrating his 10th year of singing, but also appeared in his MV.
Jennie is said to be ready to accept the offer of Zico - the female singer's close friend. The combination of the two has made the audience have high expectations. This is also the second music project Jennie participates in after establishing her own company OA. Last month, Jennie featured in the song "Slow Motion" by American singer and rapper Matt Champion (member of hip-hop group Brockhampton).
