On January 11, the People's Committee of Da Lat City issued a decision to fine Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company VND 240 million for illegal construction and illegal construction.

In addition to the fine, the government requires the company to stop construction at the site and contact the authorities to apply for a license. If the license is granted, the company must dismantle all illegal construction works outside the approved area within 90 days to fix the problem.

In 2023, Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company proposed to build a complex entertainment and resort area, two 7-storey underground parking areas at Doi Cu golf course, covering an area of ​​over 62 hectares in the middle of Da Lat city.

This proposal of the enterprise is to serve the night economy, expand Tran Quoc Toan Street... After completion, it will be handed over to Da Lat City for management and service to the community. However, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee later rejected this idea on the grounds that the above items were not yet included in the planning.

After that, Da Lat City inspected and discovered some violations at the project. More specifically, Hoang Gia DL Company was constructing a golf club building at hole 8 (adjacent to Dinh Tien Hoang Street). This building was not only an illegal and unlicensed construction but also violated planning when it blocked Langbiang mountain, the symbol of Da Lat - Lam Vien plateau, from the view from Xuan Huong Lake.

In addition, in Cu Da Lat Hill, there are 2 large constructions, one of which has an area of ​​6,120m2 and is a licensed construction. During the construction process, the investor illegally built more than 3,300m2 beyond the permitted area. In addition, the project also built more than 4,400m2, 4 floors above ground without permission. Therefore, the authorities have requested the project to stop construction and complete the documents.

Currently, the investor has stopped construction to complete the license according to regulations. The project will continue when the procedures are completed.
