( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of December 19, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in collaboration with the National Humanitarian Information Portal (1400) and the Charity Platform of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) organized the Launching Ceremony of the Campaign "Intact Spring" - Tet for Victims of Agent Orange. Major General, Dr. Do Hong Lam, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin chaired the ceremony.

Accordingly, the community fundraising campaign "Intact springs" - Tet for Agent Orange victims is implemented through 2 forms. The first form: Transfer money, scan the code to support via bank or through the National Humanitarian Portal. The second form: "Spread, mobilize support" calling on people to participate in spreading the campaign, sharing and hope to difficult circumstances during Tet through posts on personal pages, social networks...

The beneficiaries of the campaign “Intact springs - Tet for Agent Orange victims” include victims exposed to Agent Orange, veterans who participated in the resistance war, and people infected with Agent Orange, along with their families or direct caregivers on the occasion of Tet. This year's fundraising campaign was organized with close coordination between the Association and the Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund, the National Humanitarian Information Portal 1400, and the Military Bank Charity Platform.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General, Dr. Do Hong Lam said that the campaign “Intact springs” - Tet for Agent Orange victims is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, a practical, effective way, suitable for the current economic - cultural - social situation. The money collected from the program not only reflects the sentiment and responsibility of the social community towards Agent Orange victims, but also makes the majority of Vietnamese people and international friends better understand the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam; about the work of overcoming the consequences of toxic chemicals after the war by our Party, State and people.

Major General, Dr. Do Hong Lam affirmed that all the money collected from the campaign will be used by the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in accordance with the law, for the right purpose, transparently, and to the right beneficiaries, in order to mobilize more resources to care for and help victims with medical examination and treatment, rehabilitation, support for house building and repair, support for production capital, livelihood, support money and gifts for victims to celebrate the Lunar New Year At Ty warmly, reunited with their loved ones. On behalf of the program's Organizing Committee, Major General, Dr. Do Hong Lam expressed his wish to receive support and assistance from agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people nationwide to join hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange.
