Binh Minh ward youth volunteer team launched to support people with administrative procedures

On the launching day, youth volunteer teams participated in sorting and guiding people to carry out administrative procedures according to the process; supporting basic operations on public devices; installing and using the VNeID application, electronic identification accounts; supporting people to use the National and local Public Service Portal, including operations such as submitting applications online, looking up settlement results, making online payments, registering for electronic citizen accounts, etc.

The Youth Union at all levels also organizes specialized training for youth volunteer teams on AI skills, online public service knowledge, digital skills, community communication and handling of real-life situations, etc. to ensure quality support for people and authorities at the grassroots level.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hao - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Minh Ward said that to prepare for the launch day, the Ward Youth Union gathered a team of more than 15 youth volunteers and implemented a digital skills training program, performing online administrative procedures. On the launch day, the Ward Youth Union focused all its efforts on supporting people to perform administrative procedures directly and online, wholeheartedly guiding people, especially the elderly and people in the commune areas in the area.

To maintain the team, in the coming time, the Ward Youth Union will establish 2 volunteer teams to take turns supporting people with administrative procedures as well as officials in charge of administrative work; plan to receive students returning to the locality to participate in the summer volunteer campaign, adding to the team of volunteers to support the operation of the 2-level government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level.

The youth volunteer team mobilizes the core force of union members, local youth who are young cadres, civil servants, and public employees; young police officers; students participating in the summer youth volunteer campaign, especially the Green Summer Student Teams; students returning home for summer vacation in the area.

This is the first activity to promote the youth of the whole province after the historic political event of merging administrative units and operating 2-level government nationwide. Mr. Tran Duy Tan, resident of Tan Ninh ward, shared: "I went to the ward's Public Service Center to notarize my resume and was enthusiastically supported by the youth union members. They guided me through the application process and reminded me to fill in the names of administrative units after the merger. Thanks to that, the application and paperwork process is more convenient and faster"./.
