Special Chocolate Bonus for Cocoa Growers

Gricha Safarian CEO and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Deputy Director Huynh Quang Duc presented awards to cocoa growers.

There were 60 farmers who came to receive the bonus, the bonus level was calculated in units: 300 VND/kg of fresh fruit, 1,350 VND/kg of wet seeds, 3,600 VND/kg of dry seeds. It is known that the total bonus for farmers in the Mekong Delta region in 2022 is up to 900 million VND.

Mr. Gricha Safarian - General Director of Puratos Grand - Place Vietnam shared: In addition to the company's profits, the sustainable economy of the future also requires reallocating a portion of profits back to the environment that we have impacted to exploit resources, to the farmers - the group of workers who directly create the raw materials, the employees and the supply chain who work day and night for the development of the business. That is the reason why the company organizes a special Chocolate Bonus award for cocoa growers.

Puratos Grand - Place Vietnam Company is implementing a plan to support 20 thousand cocoa seedlings for farmers in Ben Tre province. Accordingly, the company supports 100% of the cost of seedlings and accompanies agricultural extension to support planting techniques, care and fertilizer processing from cocoa by-products such as leaves and cocoa shells to serve cocoa trees in the garden, helping gardeners achieve economic efficiency.
