For those in the technology industry, this is not surprising, because in recent times, businesses have invested heavily in the high-tech sector, from infrastructure to human resources. Especially since Resolution 57-NQ/TW, then Resolution 68-NQ/TW, impressive milestones have been created.

Invest heavily

During the Vietnam - Korea Economic Forum on August 12 in Korea, witnessed by General Secretary To Lam and Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok, a memorandum of understanding between CT Group Vietnam and a drone technology company in Korea was signed, with an export order of 5,000 UAVs.

These are heavy-duty transport UAVs from 60kg to 300kg of CT UAV (a member of CT Group) with a localization rate of up to 85% and exclusive Vietnamese technology highly appreciated by many countries, including Korea. Being self-sufficient in semiconductor chip design technology for UAVs gives CT UAV a special competitive advantage. Also at the event, CT Group received an ATP (assembly - testing - packaging) order to export 100 million semiconductor chips to a Korean partner.

To achieve these "sweet fruits", the enterprise has persevered in its journey of investing in science and technology over the past years. The Group has been a pioneer in the 4.0 scientific and technological revolution since 2019, from theoretical research to R&D (research and development), design, commercial production and export.

In late April 2025, in the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), CT Group Corporation opened the Innovation Center (CT Innovation Hub 4.0) in Ho Chi Minh City and started construction of phase 2 of the CT Semiconductor chip manufacturing factory in Binh Duong province (old).

The Innovation Center is identified as a place to incubate and promote 9 new technology industries, all of which are priority areas according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation such as: Semiconductors; artificial intelligence; drones; green digital currency; carbon credit floors; zero-emission folding houses; electric cars - electric trains, quantum computers; new energy; genes and cells. This model aims to connect Vietnamese and international resources, activating an innovation ecosystem on a high-tech platform.

According to Chairman of CT Group Tran Kim Chung, CT Innovation Hub 4.0 is not a theoretical simulation or demonstration of imported technology, but directly displays and operates a complete 4.0 core technology ecosystem owned by Vietnamese people. These are UAV models, self-developed AI products, semiconductor factory models, 4.0 folding houses, ESG technology serving sustainable economy or breakthrough research in the field of gene and cell technology...

With CT Semiconductor, this is the first ATP chip factory with Vietnamese technology. This factory is expected to operate in the fourth quarter of 2025, aiming to produce 100 million chips per year by 2027, while focusing on investing heavily in R&D.

Just 6 months after implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, on June 29, CT Group announced the ADC chip design by Vietnamese engineers. The chip design is called CTDA200M, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), 12-bit resolution, 20 MSPS speed. The chip is used for medical devices and images; sensors, automation systems, IoT, UAVs; wireless communications...

Mr. Tran Kim Chung said: The Group is proud of the first chip design developed by 100% Vietnamese engineers. ADC chips are often used in the fields of defense and security and are important chips in digital transformation. This type of chip usually takes 2 years to design, but the Group's engineers have made efforts and completed it in 6 months, thanks to the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

Sharing at the announcement ceremony at that time, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc said that the launch of the ADC chip design marked an important step forward in the journey to master core technology, affirming the creativity and spirit of the Vietnamese people in the digital age. The Group's strategic steps, from packaging, testing, designing AI, IoT, UAV chips... are clear evidence of promoting the endogenous resources of Vietnamese enterprises.

In addition to ADC chips and UAVs, CT Group has developed smart management software solutions, AI-based automatic monitoring systems, IoT devices, smart city platforms, and new-generation sensor modules. These products not only meet domestic demand but also have export potential.

Attracting high quality human resources

Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development not only sets the goal of developing the private sector in breadth, but also expects to elevate this sector to become a pillar of productivity, innovation and integration. In that context, CT Group determines not only the growth target but also the "transformation" from a multi-industry enterprise to an innovation center with a clear core technology orientation.

Mr. Tran Kim Chung said: The Group is working with the Alliance of 4.0 Generation Innovation Centers to activate the innovation movement among young people. We wish to join hands with the Government, agencies, departments, business communities, and intellectuals at home and abroad to build a strong innovation ecosystem, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.

The company focuses on areas that have the potential to have a profound impact on the economy, such as: Future transport infrastructure, semiconductors - the digital industrial platform and carbon market - a new component of the green economy. With an ecosystem of 9 core technology industries, CT Group aims to contribute to realizing the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW and suggesting a new private model, which is "technological autonomy, long-term orientation and action associated with national strategy".

To achieve sustainable goals, the company focuses on developing human resources through investment funds, startup incubation programs, cooperation with domestic and foreign universities, and building a network of experts and scientists. Through the CTI Program with Can Tho University and the VNU350-CT Global Fellowship for Innovation Program with Ho Chi Minh City National University, CT Group sponsored 4 million USD with the goal of attracting scientists, experts and talents worldwide...

According to Associate Professor - Doctor Vu Hai Quan, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, to develop science and technology, especially in cutting-edge technology fields such as semiconductors or quantum, the human factor is the core. Through cooperation with CT Group, the two sides will join forces, mobilize resources to invite outstanding scientists to work here, and jointly carry out joint projects between the two sides.

At the "Vietnam Dreams Come True" conference held on July 25 in Taiwan (China), CT Group leaders expressed their wish that the community of intellectuals, experts and overseas Vietnamese living, studying and working abroad would proactively contribute to the development of the country. This is a valuable resource, especially in the context of Vietnam's strong transformation in technology, innovation and digital transformation.

According to Chairman of CT Group Tran Kim Chung, one of the biggest barriers preventing many experts from returning or connecting with their homeland for a long time is the lack of a technological ecosystem of sufficient scale to develop their capacity. Therefore, CT Group has been solving this problem by creating a comprehensive high-tech ecosystem, gathering a team of professors, experts, and engineers from the United States, Taiwan (China), Korea, Japan, Europe, etc.

Assessing the development potential at CT Group, Mr. Ben Tseng, founder and Chairman of Arete Microelectronics said: "This is an excellent and admirable place. CT Group is developing an ecosystem with many high technologies, especially semiconductor technology - a field that plays a key role in many modern businesses".

CT Group's orientations and achievements not only contribute to realizing the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 68-NQ/TW, but also demonstrate that Vietnam can completely develop with technology created, owned and deployed by domestic enterprises.
