According to this decision, the Provincial People's Committee approved the adjustment of a land area of more than 2,900 m2 from the function of planning green park land to the function of planning traffic land; adjusting a land area of about 438 m2 from the function of planning traffic land to the function of planning relic - religious land and adjusting a land area of about 311 m2 from the function of planning riverside resort land to the function of planning relic - religious land.

Approval of local adjustment of zoning plan to implement the plan to "straighten" the Dong Nai riverside road section passing through the ancient villa area of Vo Ha Thanh (Ong Phu's mansion).

The Dong Nai riverside road is about 5.2km long. According to the initial plan, to serve the construction of the road, the ancient villa Vo Ha Thanh will be cleared about 9m, equivalent to about half of this construction within the project planning scope. Therefore, many experts and scientists have suggested that the planning should be adjusted to retain this construction to preserve and promote its cultural, historical and architectural values.

The Provincial People's Committee then assigned the Department of Construction to review and propose plans to preserve the ancient villa of Vo Ha Thanh. The Department of Construction proposed four plans, including the plan to "straighten" the road along the Dong Nai River passing through the ancient villa area of Vo Ha Thanh to preserve this work.

This plan has been approved by the province for implementation. To implement the plan to "straighten" the road along the Dong Nai River and preserve the ancient villa of Vo Ha Thanh, it is necessary to make local adjustments to the zoning plan of Buu Long ward (old), now Tran Bien ward, as well as to adjust the project documents.

The ancient villa Vo Ha Thanh was built in 1922 and completed in 1924 with 2 floors, a stone foundation, reinforced concrete, tiled roof... According to the assessment, the ancient villa Vo Ha Thanh has French architecture, the materials were imported from France in the early 20th century. This is a private ancient villa with ancient French architecture, built with materials transported from France.
