Approval of the Plan for auctioning the right to exploit 22 land mines

The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has just approved the Plan for auctioning the exploitation rights of 22 land mines for common filling materials, with a total area of ​​nearly 330 hectares. The mines are located in 8/9 districts and cities in the province (except Thai Nguyen city).

The planned land mine area in Quan Chu town (Dai Tu) is one of 22 land mines that will be auctioned for exploitation rights this time.

In particular, some localities are planned to have many mines with large areas such as: Phu Binh 5 mines, area 92ha; Dai Tu 5 mines, area over 50ha; Pho Yen City 2 mines, area nearly 53ha.

Through the auction, the province will select organizations and individuals with sufficient capacity to ensure the implementation of mineral exploitation projects, environmental protection, and fulfillment of financial obligations to the State.

The competent authority will review the documents, related legal procedures and grant an exploitation license to the winning bidder.

The auction and licensing of land mines for use as filling materials will help solve the shortage of filling materials, which is currently affecting the progress of projects in the province.
