Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu presents gifts to families whose temporary and dilapidated houses were removed.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu visited and encouraged the family of Ms. Do Thi Khay in An Son commune.

On the morning of June 12, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province visited, encouraged and presented gifts to a number of poor and near-poor households and meritorious people who benefited from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in An Son, Dong Lac and Nam Hung communes (Nam Sach).

Also attending was comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tiep in Nam Hung commune.

The delegation visited the family of Ms. Do Thi Khay (near-poor household) in Nhue Son village, An Son commune; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tiep (infected with toxic chemicals) in Ngo Dong village, Nam Hung commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (poor household) in Nhan Le village, Dong Lac commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu highly appreciated the active participation of local Party committees and authorities in accompanying people to mobilize resources to build new houses. Many completed houses are not only spacious and solid but also demonstrate a sense of responsibility and affection, especially for families of people with revolutionary contributions. Some houses have been invested up to billions of VND thanks to the effective mobilization of social resources.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi Van in Dong Lac commune.

The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee also requested the Nam Sach district government, after completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, to continue reviewing and clearly analyzing the reasons why households are still poor and near-poor in order to have solutions to support long-term livelihoods, helping families stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably.

In the entire Nam Sach district, 45 people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs’ relatives, poor and near-poor households have received support to repair and build houses. As of early June, the locality has completed 100% of the houses in this program.
