Summary of the work of searching and collecting martyrs' remains in the period 2021-2025

(CT) - On June 24, Steering Committee 515 of Can Tho City held a conference to summarize the implementation of the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains and identifying the identities of martyrs with missing information in the period 2021-2025. Comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee, chaired the conference.

Colonel Tran Quoc Khoi, Deputy Political Commissar of Can Tho City Military Command, presented Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals.

From 2021 to present, the work of searching, collecting HCLS and identifying HCLS has been thoroughly grasped, seriously and effectively implemented by all levels, sectors and localities. The work of propagating and mobilizing the provision of information about martyrs and martyrs' graves has been supported by the people. The City Military Command (the standing agency of the City Steering Committee 515) has a firm grasp of the above documents and instructions, promptly advised on the issuance of instructions and implemented them effectively.

Up to now, the City 515 Steering Committee has searched for and gathered 27 martyrs. The martyrs' bodies were brought to martyr cemeteries for a proper and solemn memorial service and reburial in accordance with regulations. The City 515 Steering Committee has completed the review and finalization of the martyrs' list; organized a conference to conclude the area from the grassroots to the city and completed the mapping at 3 levels as planned, reported to the superiors and managed according to regulations.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep requested the City Military Command and departments, branches and organizations to continue to coordinate to promote information, propaganda, collection, connection and provision of information to serve the work of searching and collecting HCLS; advise the City Steering Committee 515 in directing, managing and guiding the implementation of searching and collecting HCLS; promote the role of political and social organizations in providing information, participating in searching and collecting HCLS activities; organize the reception, handover and burial of HCLS closely, thoughtfully and solemnly...; promptly commend and reward organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing the task of searching, collecting HCLS and identifying HCLS with missing information.

On this occasion, the City Military Command awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in carrying out the task of searching, collecting HCLS and identifying HLCS with missing information in the period 2021-2025.
