Gia Lai: 12 products of 3 entities recognized as 4-star OCOP in the first phase of 2025

(GLO)- On June 24, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep, on behalf of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed and issued Decision No. 371/QD-UBND recognizing the results of assessment, classification and granting of 4-star OCOP product certificates under the One Commune One Product Program, phase 1, 2025.

Accordingly, 12 products of 3 entities were recognized to achieve 4-star OCOP this time, including: 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with kids, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with rock sugar, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed without sugar, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with longan, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with lotus seeds, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with ginseng, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with cordyceps, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with red apples and chia seeds, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with Saffron Collagen, 30% fresh bird's nest stewed with four flavors of Yen Xuan Cao Nguyen Development Joint Stock Company (61 Le Duan, Phu Dong ward, Pleiku city); Nguyen Han coffee Farm ground coffee of Nguyen Van Han business household (Le 2 village, Ia Lang commune, Duc Co district); Lingzhi tea product set of Lila Herbal Medicine Company Limited (Tan Phong village, Tan An commune, Dak Po district).

Products with 4-star OCOP rating are granted a certificate of recognition by the Provincial People's Committee, are allowed to use the "OCOP" certification mark and star rating printed on the product packaging according to the provisions of Decision No. 148/QD-TTg dated February 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 1162/QDVPDP-OCOP dated September 17, 2020 of the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination. The recognition result is valid for 3 years from the date of signing the recognition decision.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment (Standing Agency of the Provincial OCOP Program) shall announce and publicize products and advise on the organization of granting certificates of recognition to products recognized as 4-star OCOP; guide the People's Committees of Dak Po, Duc Co districts, Pleiku City and entities to use and print logos on OCOP products, star rankings on recognized products according to regulations; coordinate in conducting annual periodic product inspections; propose handling if entities violate the regulations on the use of OCOP logo trademarks and other provisions of law.
