Vietnamese beef pho is listed second on the list. Experts say the pho broth is simmered for hours with cinnamon, star anise and other warming spices, giving the dish a “wonderful aroma.” “Pho is one of the most recognized Vietnamese dishes in the world,” CNN quoted Andrea Nguyen, author of The Pho Cookbook, as saying about the dish.
Diners coming to Vietnam can easily find pho at street stalls, local markets, luxury restaurants, and 5-star hotels. There are many versions of pho such as pho with beef stew, chicken, and heart, but beef pho is still the most popular. Diners can eat pho with well-done beef, rare beef, brisket, flank, and served with fried breadsticks.
Number one on the list is banga, a popular Nigerian and African soup made from palm fruit, beef or dried fish, vegetables, spices such as salt and chili. This dish is served with various foods.
Some other dishes include: Russian borscht, French bouillabaisse, Portuguese caldo verde, Algerian, Libyan and Tunisian Chorba frik, Peruvian chupe de camarones, Georgian Kharcho lamb soup, Chinese Lanzhou noodles, Thai tom yum, Japanese ramen.
