Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council K'Mák visited and presented gifts to policy families in Di Linh commune

On the afternoon of July 23, comrade K'Mák, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to policy families in Di Linh commune, Lam Dong province, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Comrade K'Mak, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, kindly visited and encouraged Mr. Nguyen Lan, a 34th-class disabled veteran in Di Linh commune.

During the working trip, Comrade K'Mák and the delegation visited the family of Mr. Nguyen Lan (77 years old, residing in Residential Group 11, Di Linh Commune), a 3/4-class war invalid. Mr. Nguyen Lan used to hold many important positions such as: Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the People's Mobilization Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee (former), Secretary of Bao Loc Town Party Committee and the first Secretary of Di Linh District Party Committee (former).

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Mr. Nguyen Lan directly participated in building revolutionary bases in the locality and was injured in 1971.

Members of the working group sincerely shared and encouraged the families of the meritorious people.

At Mr. Nguyen Lan's family, Comrade K'Mák kindly asked about his health, life, and daily activities and that of his family. He expressed his deep gratitude for his sacrifices and contributions to the cause of national liberation and the construction and development of his homeland after the country's reunification.

Comrade K'Mák affirmed that the Party Committee and the government of Lam Dong province always remember and pay special attention to those who have contributed to the revolution and families with meritorious services. He also hoped that Mr. Nguyen Lan and his family would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively participate in building the locality to develop more and more.

The delegation presented gifts, expressing the deep gratitude and affection of the provincial leaders to the policy families on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade K'Mák presented a meaningful gift to Mr. Nguyen Lan's family, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", the affection and responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of the province towards the family of the meritorious person.

Touched by the attention of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Lan expressed his sincere gratitude and promised to always educate his children and grandchildren to uphold the revolutionary tradition, make positive contributions to his homeland, and live up to the expectations of the Party Committee, the government and the local people. He also believes that with the constant attention and care of leaders at all levels, the lives of policy families will increasingly improve, contributing to building a more prosperous and affectionate community.
