Vice President of Martial Arts Association Used Fake High School Diploma

The Vice President of the Traditional Martial Arts Association of Phu Yen Province (formerly) has just been discovered to have used a fake high school diploma.

On the afternoon of July 15, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Vu Le Cac, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province confirmed that Mr. Le Van Kinh (1974), Vice President of the Traditional Martial Arts Association of Phu Yen province (formerly) was determined to have used a fake high school diploma.

Previously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen (old) received instructions from the People's Committee of Phu Yen province (before the merger) to verify the information of the petition accusing Mr. Le Van Kinh of using a fake high school diploma.

On April 17, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen (old) coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City to verify and clarify the incident.

On May 8, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City concluded that Mr. Kinh's name was not on the list of people granted high school diplomas.

On June 24, the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province (old) confirmed that Mr. Le Van Kinh did not have a 12/12 education level, so he did not meet the conditions for the position of vice president of the association....

According to Mr. Vu Le Cac, when making the project to establish the Phu Yen Province Traditional Martial Arts Association for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Kinh's personnel file was confirmed to be valid for election as vice president of the association. However, at this time, Mr. Kinh was reported to have used a fake diploma, so the Department requested a re-examination. After that, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training confirmed that they would not issue a high school diploma to Mr. Kinh.

"When Phu Yen merges into Dak Lak province, this Martial Arts Association will have to rebuild the personnel plan for the 2025-2030 term and must be approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Personnel in this plan must have a high school diploma, which means Mr. Kinh will not be eligible to run for positions in this association," said Mr. Cac.
