Established in 2009, An Phu Cooperative's main business is processing and producing handicrafts from sedge, water hyacinth, rattan... The cooperative has 10 members contributing capital with a charter capital of 800 million VND.

As of July 2025, the cooperative produced 396,000 products, with revenue of nearly 19.6 billion VND and profit of over 65.7 million VND. The average income of members is 11 million VND/month, regular workers from 7.5-8 million VND/month. The cooperative creates stable jobs for 700 seasonal and part-time workers with income of 2.5-3 million VND/month.

Besides the advantages of abundant local raw materials and products that are popular with customers, the cooperative also faces difficulties in the fluctuating labor market, difficulty in accessing preferential loans to expand production, and lack of modern technology and equipment to improve productivity and quality.

The cooperative hopes that the authorities will support access to preferential capital sources, the Cooperative Development Support Fund, exemptions and extensions of time for payment of some taxes and fees during difficult times, and participation in training courses on product design, marketing, e-commerce, etc.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee - Chau Van Hoa highly appreciated the effectiveness of the cooperative's operations in the past time, and at the same time, suggested that in the coming time, the cooperative should identify a stable source of input materials to ensure production and economic contracts; focus on training and improving skills for workers.

In addition, relevant units need to research and open vocational training classes for workers of participating cooperatives; strengthen support for cooperatives to participate in fairs and trade promotion to expand consumption markets; support cooperatives to build product brands; review land funds and cooperative support funds to have appropriate support directions...
