At the meeting, the leaders of the State Treasury Region XVIII reported on the implementation of the decisions of the Ministry of Finance and the State Treasury on the organization of the apparatus after the merger; leadership, direction, and operation, ensuring stable operations, and not interrupting professional tasks. Up to now, the State Treasury Region XVIII has basically completed the arrangement and assignment of staff, issued working regulations, assigned specific areas of responsibility, and ensured the smooth operation of the apparatus.

Regarding budget revenue and expenditure, the State Treasury of Region XVIII has coordinated with the Finance Department, Tax Department, Customs Department and the commercial banking system to effectively implement tasks, ensuring timely, accurate and correct accounting. By the end of August 2025, the state budget revenue in the area reached over VND 35,761 billion, equal to 94.91% of the annual estimate, up 35.78% over the same period. Regular state budget expenditures are strictly controlled, ensuring savings and efficiency; development investment expenditures are gradually accelerated.

In addition to the achieved results, the State Treasury of Region XVIII still faces some difficulties and obstacles in the slow implementation of data conversion, affecting the progress of management, accounting and expenditure control; the facilities at some transaction points are degraded, not meeting the needs of working and storing records, causing difficulties for professional work.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the State Treasury of Region XVIII in organizing, maintaining discipline, and completing the task of collecting and spending the State budget. At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the State Treasury of Region XVIII to continue to strengthen coordination with relevant agencies and units to remove difficulties and improve service quality; focus on completing the State budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2025; continue to synchronously implement solutions to reform administrative procedures, modernize management, especially the Online Public Service program and non-cash payment solutions...
