(Dan Tri Newspaper) - With more than two weeks left until Christmas 2023, many shopping malls in Hanoi have been beautifully decorated, with large, sparkling Christmas trees and rows of lights attracting people to come and have fun and take photos.
In the large lobby area in front of a shopping mall on Dao Tan Street (Ba Dinh District), a large Christmas tree, over 20 meters tall, has been erected and lavishly decorated, making a corner of the street stand out. Every Christmas season, this place attracts attention, drawing the gaze of many passersby.
The vibrant colors of green, red, and white create a festive atmosphere, characteristic of Christmas, attracting many people, mostly young people, to come here to have fun and take photos. Also on Dao Tan Street, a tall, brightly colored pine tree, approximately 10 meters high, is placed in front of a long-standing hotel in Hanoi. In front of a large shopping mall on Ba Trieu Street (Hai Ba Trung District), the space stands out with the sparkling lights of a Christmas tree that was erected a few days ago. At the Hanoi Cathedral area, as in previous years, it is a popular destination for locals and tourists during Christmas. The large Christmas tree and nativity scene depicting the resurrection of Jesus are also nearing completion.
The Christmas atmosphere permeates many streets in Hanoi, and restaurants are also creating a buzz by decorating their interiors and exteriors to attract customers. A young person stopped their vehicle to capture the dazzling lights decorating a building on Ba Trieu Street. Both sides of Hang Ma Street (Hoan Kiem District) are lined with stalls selling products for decoration such as Christmas trees, Santa Claus costumes, toy soldiers, snow princesses, etc. Tourists also expressed their delight at the dazzling Christmas atmosphere while visiting Hang Ma Street. Lan Huong (born in 2004, a student at Dong A University of Technology) and her friend went to Hang Ma Street to experience the early Christmas atmosphere. Huong said this is her third year coming to Hang Ma Street to choose decorations, have fun, and especially to take photos.
