Phu Cu: Reduce 1 commune-level administrative unit after merger

On November 18, Phu Cu district held a conference to announce and implement Resolution No. 1248/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units (AUs) of Hung Yen province for the period 2023-2025 (Resolution No. 1248).

According to Resolution No. 1248, the arrangement of administrative units at the commune level of Phu Cu district is as follows: Merge the entire natural area of ​​6.07 ^km2 and population of 6,128 people of Minh Tien commune into Tien Tien commune. After merging, Tien Tien commune has a natural area of ​​10.69 ^km2 and population of 10,454 people.

After the arrangement, Phu Cu district has 13 commune-level administrative units, including 12 communes and 1 town.
