Honoring voluntary blood donors and launching the Red Journey program

On June 25, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Khanh Hoa province held a ceremony to honor voluntary blood donors and launch the Red Journey program in 2025. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, branches, associations, unions and volunteers participating in blood donation in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu praised the noble deeds of outstanding collectives and individuals in the voluntary blood donation movement. At the same time, he requested that Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for blood donation to be implemented effectively, providing enough clean blood for emergency and treatment; departments, branches and organizations need to closely coordinate with the Red Cross Society to organize and implement the voluntary blood donation program, especially in difficult times. Mr. Dinh Van Thieu requested that all levels, branches and organizations need to step up propaganda work, raise awareness and mobilize the active participation of the whole society in the humanitarian blood donation movement.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored outstanding groups and individuals who have made many contributions to the voluntary blood donation movement. Of which, 3 families were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded bronze plaques and family badges for donating blood 50 times to 2 families; badges for donating blood 40 times to 1 family; presented commemorative medals "For the cause of humanity" to 22 individuals; certificates of merit to 25 families and 40 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 74 outstanding individuals; the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation awarded certificates of merit to 24 families and 29 individuals.

At the program, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation launched the Red Journey 2025 program in the province. At the same time, the organization honored 99 groups and individuals who had done a good job in mobilizing and actively participating in voluntary blood donation in the Red Journey programs; and presented 20 gifts to patients in difficult circumstances in the province.

The Red Journey 2025 program takes place from May 30 to July 30.

The Red Journey program of the province honors groups and individuals who actively mobilize and participate in voluntary blood donation.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation awarded badges and bronze medals to exemplary families.

Individuals and groups received certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
