(QNO) - In recent days, the commune-level police in Phu Ninh district have been working tirelessly to go to every corner, providing the best support to citizens with the determination to complete ahead of schedule the collection of citizen identification cards (CCCD) and create level 2 electronic identification accounts for citizens present in the locality.
Go to every alley, knock on every door, check every person
During the hot days, the commune police force, together with departments and organizations in villages and residential areas in Phu Ninh, diligently "went to every alley, knocked on every door, and checked every person" to identify citizens currently living in the locality.
Based on the actual number of citizens present in the area, an invitation will be sent to the commune police headquarters to complete the procedure for receiving CCCD.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ba - Secretary, Head of An Tho village (Tam An commune) said, based on the list of the commune police, the village government together with the officer in charge of the area went to each person to collect relevant information, and asked them to go to the commune police headquarters to complete the procedures.
“Currently, there are 178 citizens in the village who do not have CCCD, of which 33 have died but have not yet had their household registrations cleared. We have reviewed and made a specific list of 51 cases of the elderly, sick, and those with difficulty traveling. At the same time, we have sent invitations to 76 citizens present in the locality to come to the Tam An Commune Police Headquarters on May 29 and 30 to complete the procedures for receiving CCCD. The village loudspeaker continuously broadcasts announcements about the list of people who have not yet made CCCD, the collection of CCCD at the commune, and proactively receives feedback from citizens arising after sending the invitations to promptly discuss with the commune police for timely adjustments,” Mr. Ba informed.
As one of the localities with a large population, complex population structure, and large area, in Tam Dan commune, population survey work requires great efforts from the locality.
Lieutenant Colonel Duong Van Chuong - Head of Tam Dan Commune Police said that the total number of citizens in the area who have not yet made ID cards is up to 600 cases, of which 80 cases cannot be collected for ID cards, 153 cases are old and sick.
“Each village association will be responsible for mobilizing 7 to 10 citizens to go to the police station to complete the procedures for receiving CCCD. As for the number of citizens who have died but have not had their household registrations erased, the commune police will coordinate with judicial officials to review and collect information to complete the legal basis and proceed to erase the household registrations according to regulations,” said Lieutenant Colonel Chuong.
On time
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cuong - Deputy Head of Phu Ninh District Police informed that the work of making CCCD for 100% of citizens present in the locality and creating level 2 electronic identification accounts has been closely directed by the District People's Committee, based on the spirit of the plan of the Provincial People's Committee.
As of May 27, Phu Ninh has completed 100% of the issuance of CCCDs and activated identification accounts for 9 communes and towns, and created population changes on the national population data system.
From now until May 30, the entire district will be determined to complete the remaining two communes in the district. The district police have directly worked with the People's Committees of communes and towns to synchronously deploy measures, creating a great spread in the community.
To complete the target of 100% of citizens present in the locality receiving their CCCD application, the district police leaders have resolutely directed the commune police force to do a good job of basic population investigation. For cases of illness, old age and difficulty in coming to the commune or town police headquarters, the working groups will quickly go to their homes to collect CCCD applications.
“The district police have requested the commune-level police force to carefully review and classify. We will support families to bring cases that are still able to travel to the commune police headquarters to do so. Particularly for cases that are unable to travel or elderly people, we will carefully review citizen information, not allowing any errors to occur, and bring machines to the house to do the procedures for issuing CCCD.
Making ID cards at home has achieved many positive results, there have been no cases of citizen records having problems" - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cuong added.
