Women of Bac Me shine, are confident, and are stepping firmly into the future.

On March 7th, at the green park area, the Women's Union of Bac Me commune organized a traditional Ao Dai (Vietnamese dress) festival and folk dance celebration with the theme "Bac Me Women Shine, Confident, Steadfast Towards the Future" to welcome the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and to commemorate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026). Attending the festival were Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the People's Council of the commune; representatives from agencies, units, schools; and nearly 500 female cadres and members of folk dance teams, groups, and clubs from villages throughout the commune.

The folk dance performances were elaborately choreographed to songs praising the homeland, the country, and Vietnamese women.

At the event, delegates reviewed the traditions of International Women's Day on March 8th. Women members from various branches performed many unique and impressive folk dances, elaborately choreographed to songs praising the homeland, the country, and Vietnamese women. Following this, the members marched in support of the election of representatives to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

This aims to awaken pride in the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women in general and women in Bac Me commune in particular, promoting solidarity, creativity, and active participation in patriotic emulation movements. At the same time, it aims to raise awareness and responsibility among members and the public, encouraging active participation in the election of National Assembly representatives and People's Council representatives at all levels.
