Have you ever been to Mount Fuji? If not, you have probably heard of it somewhere or seen it in pictures.
And perhaps, you will wonder why just a mountain like any other is considered a sacred symbol of a country?

Me too. But when I arrived here, I had the answer, because Fuji is majestic and special. This mountain is not alone, it also stands next to other mountains but it stands out more than all. Fuji is majestic, great and beautiful.
According to some documents, Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan with an altitude of more than 3,776 m above sea level, the 2nd highest mountain peak on an island in Asia and the 7th in the world .
The peak is high, the two sides of the mountain are very gentle, wide on all sides. The mountain is so big that the cities and tall buildings at the foot of the mountain, which are very large, become tiny.
Therefore, you don’t need to go to Fuji to see Fuji because this is a mountain but it is located in many provinces and cities in Japan. On the train, sitting in a car passing through a certain road, a certain city in this area, you can also see Fuji. On a clear day, you can see the mountain from Tokyo.

The beauty of Mt. Fuji is also very special. The day I arrived was a beautiful sunny spring day, although the weather was still a bit cold. The road to the mountain was as beautiful as the scene in the movie "Winter Sonata" with rows of tall, leafless trees, dotted with pure white snow and ice, standing out in the forest of brown trees. Occasionally, you would come across clear, calm lakes.
Coming closer to Mount Fuji, its beauty makes us intoxicated, unable to take our eyes off it. The white snow covering the mountain top looks like a lovely bachelor's cap. The golden sunlight makes the cap even brighter, smoother and more shiny.

There are rugged, dark blue sections of rock protruding from the white snow as if nature were drawing giant but soft Japanese characters on the majestic mountain, creating a stunning beauty.
Fuji is beautiful in all four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter, but each season has its own beauty. Around the mountain, there are many large and small tourist areas where we can see the whole mountain. Among them, there is Yamanaka Swan Lake with a scene like in a painting. On the lake, white swans glide gently on the water, right behind is the majestic Mount Fuji.
Not far away is Oishi Park in Fujikawaguchiko, which has beautiful reed fields and flower gardens, and a cafe with a direct view of Mount Fuji.
In particular, do not miss the ancient village of Oshino Hakkai. This village has very old roofs below, covered with thick white snow above, like houses in fairy tales. Looking up is the towering peak of Mount Fuji, as if embracing and protecting the whole village. During cherry blossom season, the two banks of the river will be brilliant with spring colors.

Mount Fuji is not only beautiful but has become a sacred symbol of Japan. If you stay in Japan long enough, you will realize that perhaps because the two sides of the mountain are symmetrical and even, like the discipline, orderliness, and neatness of Japan, like the way Japanese people live.
In Japan, especially in Tokyo, it seems that no tree or blade of grass grows without a reason. Everything is neat and clean. Trains run on time and fast. You can eat well in any restaurant because the illustrations are often very similar to the actual food they will serve you. Using services and tools is convenient and sophisticated.
Perhaps, the majestic Mount Fuji standing there is proof, a symbol of symmetry and harmony in Japan and the Japanese also look at the mountain to choose their way of life.
