Phu Tho prepares accommodation for 4,405 officials of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh

According to the report of the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces expected to register for residence after the merger of the provinces is 4,405 people, of which 270 are cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Phu Tho Department of Finance has a plan to arrange and allocate offices, facilities, and equipment of agencies and units to serve the merger of agencies and administrative units in the area.

The total number of qualified public assets includes 479 offices, 1,778 public service facilities; nearly 390 cars; 56,660 machines and equipment and over 4,000 other assets.

In the immediate future, the arrangement and handling of public assets will be prioritized in a way that respects the current situation and ensures efficiency. Phu Tho will choose a plan to arrange and use headquarters and public assets for new grassroots administrative units in accordance with their functions and tasks, ensuring to avoid waste.

The Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is expected to be held in October.

The congress will review the implementation of the congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term on the basis of the resolutions of the Party Committees of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh provinces; at the same time, determine the directions, goals, tasks and implementation solutions of the new Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

At the meeting on May 23, Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau affirmed that arranging accommodation for officials after the merger of the three provinces is an important task, so it is necessary to review locations with vacant rooms and houses and arrange centralized transportation.

Mr. Chau also requested to study the plan to build social housing suitable to the actual situation.

The three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, and Hoa Binh will merge into Phu Tho province, with the administrative and political center located in the current Viet Tri city.

The new Phu Tho province has a natural area of ​​9,361.381 km2, a population of over 4 million people and 148 commune-level administrative units under the province.

Phu Tho will use all the current offices of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and Phu Tho mass organizations to arrange offices of the agencies and units of the new province.
