Phu Tho meets 450 typical businesses and entrepreneurs

On October 10, speaking at a meeting on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy pledged to always accompany businesses, promptly and effectively remove obstacles, and create favorable conditions for businesses to operate and develop.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong presented the decision to establish the Phu Tho Provincial Business Association.

Attending the meeting program on Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day were many leaders of Phu Tho province, leaders of communes, wards and 450 delegates representing the business community and enterprises in the province.

Phu Tho province currently has nearly 41,000 enterprises operating in many fields, creating jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers and contributing greatly to the budget as well as social security. Some enterprises have expanded regionally and internationally, building prestigious brands.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong presented the decision to establish the Phu Tho Provincial Business Association on the basis of merging the Business Associations of the three former provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh . Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNC Tech Group, was elected as Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Business Association.

Chairman of the Provincial Business Association Nguyen Van Hung affirmed: The Phu Tho Provincial Business Association is committed to closely accompanying the locality, promoting the role of a bridge between businesses and the government, promptly reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of businesses, and providing policy advice to build an effective and substantive investment environment.

Speaking to congratulate the team of entrepreneurs and enterprises, Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy highly appreciated the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs inside and outside the province; commended the provincial business associations and typical enterprises and entrepreneurs who have made many contributions to socio -economic development and social security work in the locality.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Phu Tho identifies private economic development as an important driving force of the economy. By 2030, it strives to have a total number of operating enterprises of more than 45,000; the average growth rate of the private economic sector of more than 12% per year.

He also gave specific instructions on provincial planning, public investment implementation, providing enough electricity and clean water for businesses, building social housing, schools, and medical facilities to serve workers in industrial parks; proposed to increase the tasks of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board; continue to decentralize, publicize, and simplify administrative procedures; build a green channel mechanism for large projects, review slow-progressing projects, and remove obstacles for projects still stuck in legal procedures.

On this occasion, many outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs were awarded. The Provincial Business Association announced the amount of money and goods worth more than 5 billion VND that businesses have supported social security work and overcoming the consequences of the recent storm and flood.
