Phu Tho: Organizing more than 100 booths to introduce "specialties" to tourists on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary 2025

During the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land and the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2025, in the area around Hung Temple and the Festival Center area, there are about 100 permanent booths introducing OCOP products and local specialties to serve people and tourists during the festival (from the 1st to the 10th of the 3rd lunar month).

Accordingly, the items for sale are abundant and diverse, in which typical agricultural products and local OCOP products account for the majority such as: Chung cake, sticky rice cake, yam cake, nang cake, lam tea, Thanh Son sour meat, Lang Bo soy sauce, chili bamboo shoots, dried bananas, honey; Lang Lieu sticky rice cake, Lang Dong nang cake, Ha Hoa cassava cake... are being chosen by many tourists to buy as gifts for relatives and friends. The items for sale to tourists all have labels of the production facility with full information about address, ingredients, contact number, production date and expiry date.

In particular, during this year’s Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land, many tourists were delighted with the “check-in” ice cream sticks shaped like the entrance gate to the Hung Temple Historical Relics Festival Center. These ice creams have become a “hot trend” and created a viral effect on social networks.

According to the Management Board of the Hung Temple Historical Site, to ensure security, safety and civility of the festival, the Management Board has requested service businesses and households to sign a commitment to conduct business in accordance with the law and publicly post prices of goods; ensure food hygiene and safety, arrange service stalls reasonably, cleanly and scientifically . At the same time, business units remind visitors to keep the environment clean and put trash in the right place.

Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee requested functional units to strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations in business activities, especially during the festival.
