Plan for accommodation arrangement and support for officials and civil servants coming to work in Lam Dong province (new)

(LĐ online) - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai has just signed a document reporting to the Provincial Party Committee on the preparation of facilities for office and accommodation; working equipment and means; and support policies for officials and civil servants coming to work in Lam Dong province.

According to the report, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees from the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong registered for accommodation is 3,287 people, of which the actual number who will work in Lam Dong is 1,794 people (excluding accompanying relatives). It is expected that from July 1, about 100 leaders and deputy leaders will take on new assignments. By August 15, all 1,659 cadres and civil servants will officially come to work in Lam Dong province.

In the spirit of unification with the People's Committees of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province proposed the principle of arranging personnel at the old headquarters not exceeding 30% of the total number of cadres and civil servants of each unit, except for some specific fields. This is a step to streamline the apparatus and improve the operational efficiency of the government system in the post-reorganization period.

For cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers assigned to provincial administrative units, there will be a one-time support for transportation costs and initial purchase of essential living items of VND 5 million/person. Travel expenses will be supported at VND 1.6 million/person/month for 24 months (except for those eligible for shuttle vehicles).

For cases where accommodation has not been arranged after the merger, married couples who are both officials, civil servants or public employees, in addition to the support level specified above, will be supported with additional accommodation rental of 2 million VND/person/month.

Provincial-level civil servants who are assigned to commune-level positions receive one-time support at the time of taking up the job with a support level equal to 10 months of basic salary (excluding provincial-level civil servants assigned to work in wards of Da Lat, Phan Thiet and Gia Nghia cities before the merger).
