PTSC Thanh Hoa participates in the Clean the Sea 2025 campaign - Responding to the "Green Nghi Son" initiative

On the morning of Sunday, June 8, 2025, PTSC Thanh Hoa practically participated in the Clean the Sea 2025 campaign taking place in Nghi Son Bay, Nghi Son Commune, Thanh Hoa Province. The program was organized by the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Zones of Thanh Hoa Province in coordination with Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited with the participation of many businesses in the area. This is the opening activity for the Green Nghi Son Initiative, aiming to respond to World Environment Day (June 5), World Oceans Day (June 8) and Vietnam Sea and Islands Week.

Overcoming the harsh hot weather, nearly 30 youth union members and employees of PTSC Thanh Hoa joined other units to carry out activities to clean the coast and water surface of Nghi Son Bay. In addition, PTSC Thanh Hoa also sponsored 19 manual garbage carts, worth more than 80 million VND, to the People's Committee of Nghi Son Commune, contributing to supporting the locality in maintaining long-term environmental sanitation, while demonstrating the connection between the enterprise and the local community. These are meaningful communication activities, aiming to raise awareness among local people about waste management and marine environmental protection.

Through these activities, PTSC Thanh Hoa continues to affirm its active role in community and environmental activities, while spreading the message: “Live green – Work green – Develop sustainably”. The Clean Sea 2025 Campaign is the beginning of a long journey of the Nghi Son Green Initiative, towards a future of harmonious development between economy – environment – ​​community in the region.
