Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee Nguyen Van Duy emphasized that this is an opportunity for the district to focus on mobilizing resources, implementing a series of environmental protection actions; joining hands to build Hai Chau into an environmental district and have a green, clean, beautiful and friendly urban appearance.

General environmental cleaning along Nhu Nguyet and Bach Dang streets and vacant lots in preparation for the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

After the launching ceremony, a large number of union members, members of associations, organizations, officers, soldiers of the armed forces and officers and people in the district launched a general cleaning of the environment along Nhu Nguyet and Bach Dang streets and vacant lots to prepare for the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival and the opening of Bach Dang Walking Street.

Many people participate in the Festival of collecting recyclable waste and household hazardous waste

Along with that is the Hai Chau District Household Recycling and Hazardous Waste Collection Day in 2024. The festival collected more than 1,750 kg of recyclable waste and more than 205 kg of hazardous waste (batteries, discarded fluorescent bulbs, discarded electronic components).
