Pyeongteck City - Korea, opening of Vietnam Cultural Week

Vietnam Culture Week. This is the first time the event is dedicated to Vietnam.

In his opening speech, Mayor Jung Jang-seon said that Pyeongteck has become a livable international city in Korea. It is developing more and more with the foundation of the Samsung Group's semiconductor industrial cluster. In particular, Pyeongteck City has a sister city relationship with Da Nang City of Vietnam. The two sides have maintained exchanges and continue to have plans to promote cooperation in many fields in the future.

Mayor Jung Jang-seon expressed his belief that this Vietnamese cultural event is a good opportunity to enhance understanding and exchange among Pyeongteck residents. It will also be an opportunity to ease the homesickness of overseas Vietnamese. The Pyeongteck City Government thanked the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism for their support in organizing this event.

The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Cultural Week was solemnly held at the Baedari Library Garden in the center of Pyeongteck City. The organizers arranged a lotus releasing ceremony to represent the pure traditional beauty of the Vietnamese people. The program organized an exchange session with Cherry Hye-ri, a famous Korean YouTuber with 1 million subscribers in Vietnam to encourage learning about Vietnamese culture and tourism.
