A captivating performance by two giants of European fireworks.

ĐNO - On the evening of June 21, the 4th competition night of DIFF 2025 with the theme "Sustainable Development", two teams from Portugal and the UK brought impressive performances to the audience of the city on the Han River.

Opening the competition, the Macedos Pirotecnia team from Portugal stirred up the Han River with a vibrant rock concert performance of "Rock You Like A Hurricane," captivating viewers with a whirlwind of light and music. The team notably used recycled materials and minimized the use of machinery, emphasizing their philosophy of sustainable development. A highlight was the dynamic nature of their performance, with a series of fireworks culminating in a dazzling titanium flash, creating a spectacular "light rain" effect. The entire performance was a tribute to the majestic beauty of nature and a call to action to protect the planet.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi presented commemorative medals to the two teams.

Meanwhile, the Pyrotex Fireworx team from the UK chose to evoke empathy and connection between people, nature, and community. Their "Waves of Emotion" was elaborately produced with nearly 8,000 uniquely designed fireworks, harmoniously combined with modern lighting effects and a unique musical arrangement. The performance quickly transitioned to a lively James Bond soundtrack, then became more intimate with Vietnamese songs like "Người hãy quên em đi" (Please Forget Me) and "Nơi này có anh" (There's You Here). The climax concluded with timeless hits like "Dancing Queen" and "Live and Let Die," creating a mesmerizing "fireworks opera."

The art program was a large-scale, spectacular production.

Many youthful performances were presented at DIFF 2025 on the fourth night.

Along with the spectacular fireworks display, the audience was also immersed in a grand, elaborately staged art program that enlivened the atmosphere along the Han River, including: the song "Improvisation on Bài Chòi" by composer Phạm Hồng Biển, performed by singer Tố My, rapper Nam Sơn, Trưng Vương Dance Troupe, and MTE Dance Troupe; the songs "Water God" and "Clouds and Mountains" performed by singers Đông Hùng and Hồng Minh; saxophone player Phạm Tài, along with the Trưng Vương Dance Troupe and MTE Dance Troupe, brought visitors into a youthful and lively musical space with the song "Feel it Still"; and the song "Training Season" performed by Lâm Bảo Ngọc and artists from the Trưng Vương Dance Troupe and MTE Dance Troupe electrified the stage.
