Permanent Vice Chairman of Hoan Kiem District People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hoan said that Hoan Kiem is a place where the cultural quintessence of the capital converges.
With 190 historical and cultural relics, 2 special national relics, 37 national relics, Hoan Kiem district is preserving a cultural and historical treasure with unique and distinctive values. Along with that, the district also preserves many rich and attractive intangible cultural values such as craft streets, culinary streets; folk art and cultural performances, traditional festivals.
With its historical and cultural advantages, Hoan Kiem district has created its own unique cultural tourism products. In addition to the unique tourist destinations, Hoan Kiem cuisine also has great appeal to tourists with many dishes bearing the flavor of Hanoi; thousands of culinary businesses, more than 700 accommodation establishments, hotels, many travel service businesses, and more than 1,800 food service businesses... Therefore, Hoan Kiem is currently the destination of many domestic and international tourists.
The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District has promptly developed the "Hoan Kiem District Tourism Guide" in English - Vietnamese and electronic versions; the District Tourism Association also coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District to develop the "Hoan Kiem Tourism App" to keep up with the trend, contributing to providing timely information to tourists, enhancing the experience of domestic and international tourists through tourism support applications without having to directly visit tourist attractions.
In particular, "Hoan Kiem Travel Guide" is a useful tool providing updated information on tourist attractions, cuisine, accommodation as well as suggested exploration itineraries.
"Hoan Kiem Travel App" is an application designed with a friendly, easy-to-use interface, fully integrating features such as: Looking up destination information, interactive maps, cultural history and special events of the district.
This is a solid foundation for Hoan Kiem district to promote digital transformation in the tourism sector, creating practical economic, cultural and social values for the community. From there, it opens up many opportunities for cooperation, investment and business development in the future, while contributing to increasing the attractiveness of destinations and tourism products; improving the quality of service for tourists when visiting the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem district.
