After a journey of more than four months, the final competition night of the program "Talent Rendezvous" with the theme "Shining" had the participation of 4 excellent faces competing through two solo and duet competitions with famous artists.
Singer Nguyen Thanh Thuy won over the judges and the audience with his performance of the song "Dầu mưa" (composed by Pham Toan Thang). Not only did he show off his soulful voice, Nguyen Thanh Thuy also played the piano, demonstrating the image of a versatile artist. Judge Ho Ngoc Ha assessed this as "a perfect performance in both art and emotion". Musician Huy Tuan humorously commented that he "had nothing more to add", while singer Truc Nhan called Thanh Thuy a "true artist" with a unique musical world.
Thuy's duet with singer Dinh Manh Ninh in the song "First Love Season" was also a gentle highlight, affirming her stage presence and ability to combine delicately.
With the song “Choi Voi”, Nguyen Hoang Bao Ngoc surprised the judges with her spectacular transformation. Judge Truc Nhan did not hesitate to give her the first 10 points and compared her to the “colorful butterfly” of the final night. Judge Ho Ngoc Ha emotionally said: “Ngoc has proven that dedication and self-belief are the only ways to break through”. Meanwhile, musician Huy Tuan called Bao Ngoc the “eye of the storm” of the competition night, affirming that the choice to keep her in the previous rounds was completely correct.
Nguyen Hoang Minh Khoi with the hit song "De em roi xa" showed his meticulousness in singing and confidence on stage, making a clear impression. Judge Truc Nhan assessed him as having a distinct musical personality, a young singer "capable enough to shape his own style". Singer Ho Ngoc Ha praised his flexibility and youthfulness: "You are not only a ballad prince but can also transform into many colors". Musician Huy Tuan emphasized: "A bright voice, clear lyrics, easy to create sympathy - you have enough luggage to go the long way".
With the song “Fire Star”, Vo Hoai Anh brought a performance that was visually and energetically brilliant. Judge Ho Ngoc Ha called her “entertainment princess” and commented: “Bright appearance, stage presence, unique voice – you are a face of the market”. Musician Huy Tuan said that the competition helped Hoai Anh mature and get closer to the image of a complete performing artist.
The duet of 4 contestants with famous voices such as Dinh Manh Ninh, Khanh Linh, Nhat Thuy, Hoang Ton brought many emotions to the audience.
Singer Nguyen Thanh Thuy won the first prize as voted by the Jury and the Professional Council. In addition, the Prospective Award went to Vo Hoai Anh, the Style Award went to Nguyen Hoang Minh Khoi, the Impression Award went to Nguyen Hoang Bao Ngoc, the Audience Choice Award went to Nguyen Quang Anh and the Golden Sol Award from the Vietnam Musicians Association was given to Nguyen Mai Chi.
Champion Thanh Thuy is currently a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. He is a professionally trained artist in jazz, pursuing R&B music and possessing the ability to arrange, compose, and play many musical instruments.
