Completed 21/21 socio -economic development targets
2024 is an important year, a decisive year for implementing the goals and targets of the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, especially the Resolution of the 6th Tay Ho District Party Congress. This is also the year that Tay Ho District implements many key political tasks.
According to Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ho District Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, in the context of many difficulties and challenges in the world and in the country, with the close and drastic direction of Party committees and authorities from the district to the grassroots level, the efforts of the entire political system, the socio-economic situation in the district in 2024 has achieved important results.
Notably, the district has completed and exceeded 21/21 targets for socio-economic development in 2024. Trade, service and tourism revenue increased by 16.2% over the same period in 2023, budget revenue is estimated at 176.2% of the year plan...
The district has also focused on handling shortcomings and limitations in land management and construction order management according to inspection conclusions, reaching a rate of 91.9%. Site clearance work for project implementation has been focused on and achieved high efficiency. The district has also organized many major cultural and sports events in the area. The quality of education and training in the district continues to be maintained, with 13/13 emulation targets of the education sector being classified as excellent. Social security is ensured. Discipline and administrative discipline are well maintained. Political security, order and social safety are maintained.
Notably, 3 wards: Yen Phu, Thuy Khue, Tu Lien of Tay Ho have achieved the title of "cultural ward" in 2024, contributing to Tay Ho "reaching the finish line" of building 8/8 wards meeting the "Cultural Ward" standards for the 2020-2025 term. Xuan La Ward is the first ward of Tay Ho district to meet the standards of a civilized urban ward.
During the year, Tay Ho district also promoted the development of cultural industries. Along with the organization of the program "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2024", Nhat Tan tourist area was recognized as a city-level tourist area. Phu Thuong sticky rice making, Quang An lotus tea brewing, Nhat Tan peach growing were recognized as national intangible cultural heritages...
Strongly innovate the Party's leadership method
One of the bright spots of Tay Ho in 2024 is the work of organizing and building the Party. Under the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the work of organizing and building the Party in the district continues to have many strong changes. Many good models and creative ways have been implemented, bringing positive results, contributing to creating important and comprehensive results for Tay Ho district.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ho District Party Committee Nguyen Le Hoang, during the year, the Tay Ho District Party Committee continued to effectively implement the model of key district leaders registering to take on difficult and complicated tasks within their assigned authority. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee approved 183 registrations for difficult and complicated tasks of 71 key leaders. The entire district had 7,126/7,560 party members (94%) registering to carry out new and difficult tasks. Through evaluation, the registrations were completed on schedule and with the committed quality. 12 collectives and 35 individuals with outstanding achievements in carrying out "difficult tasks" were commended and rewarded.
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has focused on strengthening and building grassroots Party organizations, considering this a vital task to enhance the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, and consolidate people's trust. Up to now, the district has no weak Party organizations, no complicated or sensitive cases.
During the year, Tay Ho district admitted 143 outstanding people to the Party, reaching 143% of the rate assigned by the City Party Committee. The entire district Party Committee had 203/256 Party cells achieving the "Four-Good Party Cell" standard, reaching 79%; 6,804/7,560 Party members achieving the "Four-Good Party Member" standard, reaching 90%. 45 Party cells with a large number of Party members piloted Party cell activities with a 93% participation rate, which was highly appreciated by the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Board for its effectiveness.
According to the Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Tay Ho District People's Council Le Thi Thu Hang, towards the 7th Congress of the District Party Committee, up to now, 100% of the grassroots Party Committees have issued plans for the Congresses of their subordinate Party cells towards the grassroots Party Congress and completed the draft Political Report of the Congress. The important and comprehensive results that Tay Ho District has achieved will be a solid foundation for Tay Ho District to rise up and develop strongly in the "Era of Rising" of the Capital and the country.
