
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired the conference. Attending were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and nearly 300 OCOP entities in the province.
As of June 2025, Quang Nam province has completed the assessment and classification of OCOP products at district and provincial levels. The whole province has currently developed 546 products, including 391 food products; 42 beverages; 38 medicinal herbs and medicinal products; 72 handicrafts; 3 community tourism services, eco-tourism and tourist attractions.
Of the 546 products listed above, there are 2 5-star products: Saphraton Health Food - Nam Tra My and Quy Thu Grilled Coconut Cake - Que Son, 55 products achieved 4 stars, and 489 products achieved 3 stars.

Over the past time, localities have organized 120 training courses, providing knowledge for nearly 4,000 participants in the program. The OCOP consulting network has been gradually consolidated, and trade promotion, advertising, and product consumption connection activities have been expanded in a more professional and systematic manner.
In the 2026 - 2030 period, Quang Nam aims to develop or upgrade at least 35 OCOP products each year. The program will continue to innovate, increase digitalization of management processes, promote green transformation, apply high technology and expand modern marketing channels.
Quang Nam will also develop a project to develop special OCOP products at the provincial level, associated with tourism development, creating a distinct highlight in the journey of building advanced and exemplary new rural areas.

Appreciating the efforts of departments, branches and localities in implementing the OCOP Program in recent times, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that OCOP is not simply a rural product movement, but a comprehensive economic program, with people at the center and businesses as the driving force.
It is the responsible support of the entire political system, from propaganda and training to market connection support, that has helped the program achieve positive results.
"In the new context, it is required that sectors and localities improve the quality of product evaluation, persistently accompany the subjects so that OCOP products are truly the driving force to promote rural economy, green agriculture, have the ability to compete domestically and aim for export" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the OCOP Program for the period 2021 - 2025.
