Quang Nam has a new Provincial Party Secretary

On the afternoon of January 24, the Standing Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held a Provincial Party Committee Conference to listen to the announcement of the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai led the Central delegation to attend the conference.

At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decision on Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet's resignation from the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and his resignation from the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City.

The Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Triet to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet holds the position of Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, replacing Mr. Phan Viet Cuong who retired from January 1.

The Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Triet to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was born in 1976, from Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province; political theory level: advanced; professional level: Master of Business Administration, Silcat Technology Engineer.

During his career, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet held the following positions: Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union, Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, Da Nang City, Chairman of the City Labor Federation, Chief of Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hai Chau District Party Committee, Da Nang City.

At the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee XXII, term 2020-2025, held on October 21, 2020, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet , Secretary of Hai Chau District Party Committee, was elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.

In December 2020, at the 16th Session of the Da Nang City People's Council, delegates elected Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet to hold the position of Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council.

In January 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.
