From September 21 to 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCT) of Quang Nam province coordinated with agencies and departments to organize activities to promote Quang Nam tourism in Guangxi province (China).

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, the main activities of the delegation in Guangxi include visiting and working with leaders of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; attending the opening ceremony of the 21st China-ASEAN Expo 2024 (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Trade and Investment Summit.
In addition, coordinate to display and introduce Quang Nam cultural and tourism space at the Forum to promote foreign localities twinned with Guangxi and the 21st China - ASEAN Fair; visit and work in Guilin city on the work of preserving and promoting cultural and tourism values.
Introducing and displaying tourism products and OCOP products of Quang Nam province
At the events, the Quang Nam tourism industry organizes promotion and introduction of cultural images, tourism, and local OCOP products through screening Quang Nam tourism films, displaying publications and general tourism products of the province and of local businesses.
Also on this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province joined the Quang Nam province delegation led by Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, to visit and work in Gansu province (China).
The delegation of Quang Nam province will participate in meetings, work, exchanges, and signing friendly cooperation agreements with the high-ranking delegation of Gansu province; visit and survey Gansu medicinal herbs company to study and discuss promoting cooperation in the field of ginseng and medicinal herbs; attend the opening ceremony of the 7th Dunhuang "Belt and Road" International Cultural Expo in 2024 in Gansu province...
"The promotion and tourism promotion activities of Quang Nam during this business trip opened up many new cooperation contents with provinces in China, contributing to attracting more visitors from this market to Quang Nam in the coming time" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong said.
