On August 16, the Vietnam Exhibition House coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the program "Hanoi Tourism Days" at the World Exhibition (Expo) 2025 in Osaka (Japan).

According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in 2024, Hanoi welcomed 270,000 Japanese visitors. Japanese visitors to Vietnam include many segments: students, middle-aged and elderly visitors, business visitors, and MICE visitors.

Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu said that over the years, Hanoi and Japanese localities, including Osaka, have had a deep and comprehensive cooperative relationship in many fields, especially tourism development cooperation.

The "Hanoi Tourism Days" program at Expo Osaka 2025 is a good opportunity to widely promote the image of Hanoi - a city for peace, a creative city to international tourists and friends. This is also an opportunity for the two sides to promote tourism cooperation between Hanoi and Osaka to develop strongly, effectively and sustainably.

In addition, many experiential and interactive activities such as enjoying Hanoi's delicious cuisine, making traditional lotus tea, etc. were introduced to guests who love traditional culture.

This occasion is also an opportunity for Vietnamese and Japanese tourism businesses to seek cooperation opportunities in tourism, and build more tours connecting Hanoi and Japanese cities.
