At the dialogue, representatives of many cooperatives said that there are many difficulties and obstacles in the process of developing the cooperative economic model. Specifically, many units do not have land funds to invest in building offices, warehouses, and drying yards; the accumulation of land to link production according to the value chain still has many obstacles.

Notably, the preferential loan limit of the Quang Nam Province Cooperative Development Support Fund is low, so many units lack investment capital to expand production and business scale; they cannot attract young cadres with professional qualifications to work long-term at the cooperative because of low salaries, while the province's support mechanism has expired...

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged that the cooperative economic model plays a very important role in the economy. However, reality shows that most of the models are small-scale production and business, not bringing high efficiency.

Comrade Le Van Dung acknowledged the feedback from representatives of cooperatives and shared the difficulties and obstacles that the units are facing. At the same time, he said that the province has issued many mechanisms and policies to support the development of cooperative economy, but the regulations are too restrictive, making it difficult to implement.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung requested the Department of Finance, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Provincial Cooperative Union and relevant departments and branches of the province to soon focus on coordinating to review the mechanisms and policies to support the economic development of cooperatives in the province that have been issued.
