Quang Ngai to complete high-speed railway resettlement areas in 2026

According to the Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province, the work of compensation, site clearance and construction of resettlement areas to serve the construction of the North-South high-speed railway project is being prepared by relevant units and sectors. According to the preliminary plan, the area of residential land of all types to be recovered is more than 96 hectares.

It is expected that about 1,600 people will have to relocate to a resettlement area with a land fund of more than 2,500 plots. The total investment for the sub-project of site clearance compensation and resettlement serving the project is about 11,400 billion VND.

Of which, the cost of building resettlement areas is about 1,300 billion VND.
