Quang Tri: Checking and handling the construction of fences at Quang Phu sand hill

On July 17, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it had just issued a document requesting inspection and handling of the erection of bamboo stakes and stringing of ropes to prevent 4-wheeled all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) of organizations and individuals operating in Quang Phu sand hill (Nam Trach commune, Quang Tri province).

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Nam Trach commune and relevant units to urgently inspect and determine boundary markers, scope of land handover, boundary demarcation methods, land use in accordance with assigned purposes, relevant legal regulations...; request the People's Committee of Nam Trach commune to urgently inspect and work with relevant organizations and individuals to stabilize the situation; coordinate with relevant agencies to resolutely handle cases of spontaneous business that do not comply with legal regulations; monitor Gosimco Management Capital Limited Liability Company in the process of implementing the project to temporarily exploit sand sliding experience services.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the police force to coordinate with local authorities to ensure security and order in the area; resolutely handle organizations and individuals operating without ensuring conditions according to the provisions of law, providing false information, affecting tourism security in particular and the tourism image of the province.
