When the market was relocated, in recent days, traders of the old Dong Phu market have been transporting goods from the old market to the new Dong Phu market for trading and business. The People's Committee of Que Son district has also mobilized human resources and vehicles to support traders in transporting goods to the new market.
Mr. Huynh Van Anh, a vegetable and fruit vendor, said: “Before moving to the new market, I was very worried. Many vendors said the market was cramped, but today, when I came to sell at the new Dong Phu market, I am very satisfied. Thanks to the province and district, I have a cleaner and more spacious place to sell.”
Ms. Huynh Thi Nhi, a pork trader at Dong Phu market, said that the old market was polluted and cramped, but now the new market is more spacious and clean. However, for households that slaughter and sell large quantities of livestock, the trading area at the new market is still quite cramped.
"I suggest that the authorities pay attention to researching and opening a separate area for traders to have refrigerators to preserve meat, to avoid food spoilage when meat is not sold out during the day," said Ms. Nhi.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son - Chairman of Que Son District People's Committee said that at the old Dong Phu market, there were a total of 481 business households, besides there were also dozens of small businesses that regularly and irregularly traded along the sidewalks of the roads around the market.
During the process of planning and organizing the relocation of Dong Phu market, the District People's Committee received a number of opinions from traders reflecting on the problems at the new market.
In that spirit, the district has organized many meetings and dialogues with traders, and at the same time, inspected the situation and directed solutions, removed fertilizers, veterinary products, hairdressing products, and western medicine from the greenhouse area, added a separate area of 23 lots; increased the area of stalls in the greenhouse...

Mr. Son said that the existing problems at the new Dong Phu market have been basically resolved, however, after the market is relocated, the District People's Committee will continue to listen, inspect, and overcome limitations to create the most favorable conditions for traders and businesses.
“Up to now, the relocation of Dong Phu market has been basically completed, all traders have complied with the relocation to the new market to do business. The putting into use of the new Dong Phu market has an important meaning in implementing commercial civilization, turning Dong Phu market area into a central area to promote economic development of Dong Phu town in particular and Que Son district in general in the coming years” - Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son said.

Dong Phu New Market is part of the Dong Phu Market Quarter construction investment project. This is a type 2 market, the design documents have been appraised by the Department of Construction.
