“Light Up Your Faith” Scholarship Fund Honored with Inspirational Project - Human Act Prize 2024

With the passion and constant efforts in the journey to bring learning opportunities and change the lives of thousands of studious students in difficult circumstances, on December 14, the "Light Up Faith" Scholarship Fund was honored to receive the Inspirational Project Award at the Human Act Prize 2024.

The “Light Up Your Faith” Scholarship Fund is one of 31 projects and ideas honored at the Human Act Prize 2024.

With the theme of "Building Community", the Human Act Prize 2024 aims to promote the spread and connection of community activities. The award not only honors outstanding initiatives but also encourages the replication of effective community models. This theme emphasizes the role of cooperation between large enterprises, organizations and small volunteer groups in creating positive and sustainable changes for society.

Established on May 21, 2007, the “Light Up Your Faith” Scholarship Fund aims to support the dreams and ambitions of disadvantaged students across the country. In addition to financial support, the Fund organizes activities to help students practice skills and gain life experience. After 17 years, the Fund has supported nearly 1,400 students, of whom nearly 1,100 have graduated, many of whom have been successful in their careers, even continuing to study and work abroad, contributing to building a sustainable future.

With its tireless efforts, the “Light Up Your Faith” Scholarship Fund has created positive values for the community and has been recognized and honored by the Human Act Prize 2024. This award is also a motivation for the Fund to firmly step on the journey of imparting knowledge and spreading a profound humanitarian spirit. Through the award, the Fund's Board of Directors also expressed gratitude to all its companions - sponsors, philanthropists, the community and generations of students who have together written a beautiful story for “Light Up Your Faith”. Thanks to that companionship, thousands of excellent students have been able to go to school, confidently conquer their dreams and contribute to society.

This journey is just the beginning of further efforts for a brighter future for all,” Ms. Le Kim Dung - Member of the Fund Management Board emotionally shared about this meaningful award.
The Human Act Prize is an annual award organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, honoring individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to society through prestigious community initiatives and projects that bring timely, long-term and sustainable results. 2024 is the second time the Human Act Prize has been held with 128 applications from many different fields of activity. Out of a total of 128 applications submitted, the Organizing Committee has selected 31 outstanding projects to honor.
