In the first quarter of 2025, Dong Nai will auction two land plots with an area of 113 hectares in Long Thanh.

In the first quarter of 2025, Dong Nai province plans to auction two land plots in Long Thanh district with a total area of 113 hectares.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just met to discuss the progress of the auction of two land plots with a total area of 113 hectares in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district.

According to the report of Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the first land plot has an area of over 77 hectares, currently the land plot boundary overlaps with adjacent projects including: Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway; expansion of Le Duan street; expansion of Vu Hong Pho street.

This land also has about 47 hectares of rubber plantation that have not been liquidated, cut trees, and about 4 hectares of land that the Dong Nai General Agricultural Service Cooperative Union (Donacoop) is using, but has not relocated assets and handed over the site.

Many plots of land along traffic routes will be auctioned by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee to reinvest in infrastructure.

The second land plot has an area of more than 36 hectares. Up to now, Long Thanh district has not completed the adjustment of the land boundary and has not handled the remaining assets on the land.

Meanwhile, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has not completed sawing and cutting rubber trees and handing over the land. In addition, the land does not have a detailed 1/500 plan.

According to the expected schedule, 2 land plots in Long Thanh district will be auctioned in the first quarter of 2025.

To achieve the set progress, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee assign Long Thanh district to continue handling the problems in the two land lots put up for auction.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Phi, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, pointed out that these two plots of land are expected to be auctioned this year, but the progress of the procedures is still very slow.

The Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that the main responsibility lies with Long Thanh district. Therefore, the locality needs to speed up the progress of mapping, adjusting boundaries, making detailed plans at 1/500 scale, and handling assets on land to ensure a clean site when organizing auctions.

According to the plan issued by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee in early April this year, in 2024, the province will auction 18 land plots with a total area of over 470 hectares. The expected revenue from the auction is VND 5,098 billion (provisionally calculated according to the 5-year land price list of Dong Nai province for the period 2020-2024).

In addition, Dong Nai also issued a plan to reclaim 21 land plots with a total area of 1,557 hectares located along 9 traffic routes for auction.

The amount of money collected from the auction of 21 land plots is expected to be 42,843 billion VND. This amount will be used to reinvest in the province's transport infrastructure.
